The growing need for hip hop choreographers and dancers in the entertainment and film industry has skyrocketed since the onset of such movies as "You Got Served", "Saved the Last Dance" and the mega million dollar "Step Up" movie franchise.  The hit MTV show "ABDC" (America's Best Dance Crew), the movie "Rize" and the high ranking web-based series "LXD" have inspired a revolution of dance crews and have showcased some of America's most talented dancers and innovative choreography to millions around the world. This is why "It's a Groove Thing"  was created.  Our objective is to offer an event to hip hop choreographers, dancers, video & film casting directors, booking agencies, music artist, sports medicine doctors and nutritionist to network, educate, enhance and promote their talent. This will be done through a variety of panels, showcases and master dance classes.  There will also be several ceremonies during the course of the event to recognize some of the hip hop dance industry’s top choreographers , dancers and up and coming choreographers and dancers. This going to be an all age event so the whole family can attend.
